What happens when your subconscious mind meets the blank canvas?
Is the final result what you initially had in mind?
Is the audience seeing what you see?
These and other questions come to my mind as I further my studies about archetypes and collective consciousness first introduced in psychology by Carl Gustav Jung.
Each piece starts from a specific color, a sensation, and develops on its own as I manage to imprint it on canvas.
That’s why I don’t really know where each image comes from, I can only acknowledge the final result and give it the interpretation both my own personal consciousness as well as the collective consciousness of my ancestors connect it to.
